About Me

I cook, I eat, and I travel! Hi! My name is Yvonne, and I LOVE food -- cooking it, eating it, photographing it, videoing it! I live in New York City with my husband Chris and am originally from San Francisco, California. I have loved cooking and eating for as long as I can remember.
As I got older and started earning my own money, I have used it mostly to travel and explore the US and nearly every continent, exploring new cuisines, flavors, ingredients, and cooking techniques. I've been truly inspired and humbled by the people I've met around the globe and their attitudes to and treatments of different ingredients. I believe that food truly connects people regardless of origin or class, and that through food, we can better understand people different from us.
